The owner of The Birt Group, Erin Birt, is also an attorney.  She understands the unique circumstances of substance abuse and the resulting legal consequences.

Ms. Birt has been practicing law since 2003 and has previously worked for and received invaluable training through the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.  She has experience working with clients scheduled for an Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Reinstatement hearing as both an attorney and an alcohol and drug counselor. Her dual career allows her to have a greater understanding of the issues and questions to be addressed at an Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Reinstatement hearing.

Working in conjunction with her law firm, The Law Firm of Erin N. Birt, P.C., Ms. Birt offers coaching and legal consulting services to clients that wish to retain her services to prepare for an informal or formal hearing.   For clients that prefer, and should have, legal representation at a formal Illinois Secretary of State Driver’s License Reinstatement hearing, Ms. Birt also provides comprehensive legal services which includes representation at the formal hearing.
